Rajendra V. Gandhi is currently working as the Vice Chairman and Managing
Director of Gujarat Reclaim & Rubber Products Ltd. The company promoted by
him is one of the largest manufacturer of reclaim rubber in the world.
Mr Gandhi is a graduate engineer from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT,
Mumbai) one of India’s premier Engineering colleges. He is serving as
independent Director on the Boards of several public listed companies.
He is also a Trustee of Friends of Moral Re-Armament (India), a not for
profit institute working in enhancing and strengthening ethical values in
civic society. He is connected with several educational institutes in
Maharashtra and Gujarat, many of which are financially supported by the his
family charitable trusts. He is keenly interested in empowerment of women
and in particular girl child. He believes only when women in developing
countries are sufficiently educated and empowered then the next generation
will emerge much stronger in character and skills.
Nayna his wife devotes her time in teaching bhajans to women of all ages and
also works with a school for children with special needs. Mr. Gandhi is 60
years and has three grown up children two daughters and a son. »
