Raj Singh

Raj Singh now lives in India. He ran a financial services consultancy in Toronto, Canada for 15 years. Since relocating to Delhi in 2008, he has been active as a financial advisor and is involved in joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, effect marketing and technical collaborations, market research and other allied project implementation services.

Raj’s focus has now turned towards social justice and on the ongoing study, research and development of the Trust’s initiatives. He is conducting an in-depth study on the use of mobile technology to broadcast health education to villages. Raj has recently concluded a preliminary survey of mobile phone usage amongst women in his ancestral village of Sauna, in eastern Uttar Pradesh. Some of the most underdeveloped regions of India are in the neighbouring state of Bihar. More detailed follow up studies and analysis of the neighbouring villages are planned.  »
